Congratulations 2026 D.A.R.E. Graduates!

Please join the Chubbuck Police Department in congratulating all of our local D.A.R.E. students on their recent graduation from the D.A.R.E. program!

Over the last several months, our very own Officer Casey Hollowell spent time with our kids from Chubbuck Elementary, Tyhee Elementary and the Montessori Program as their D.A.R.E. Officer. He taught them about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and smoking, but he also taught them about stress, anxiety and peer pressure.

These kiddos are about to move on to middle school and Ofc. Hollowell’s message to them was, The choices you make today shape your world tomorrow. Well said Ofc. Hollowell.

During the program, the kids all wrote an essay about what they learned in the program and how it affected them personally. Members from our police department then voted on the best essay from each class and those students received a $50.00 gift certificate. The student who wrote the best essay from each school received a $100.00 gift certificate.

Also, apparently, the kids decided that Ofc. Hollowell shares a close resemblance to Master Splinter (Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles). He took this as a complement and carried a picture of Master Splinter with him into graduation. HAHAHA, you can’t make this stuff up!

Congratulations on your D.A.R.E. graduation kids, it sounds like you had a lot of fun and we know Ofc. Hollowell did!
