Employee of the Month, P.I.E.S. Award Recipient December 2025

The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25’s Employee-of-the-Month P.I.E.S. award recognizes employees who Positively Influence Educational Success. The award is for employees who go above and beyond in that effort.

The entire staff at Greenacres Elementary enthusiastically supports Pam Domitz as the December PIES Award recipient. Pam is recognized for the many ways she positively influences educational success through her vision, initiative, and unwavering commitment to learners and colleagues.

Pam has been an incredible force for positive change at Greenacres Elementary, and her impact is felt throughout the entire school community.  While many enjoyed a well-earned summer break, Pam was hard at work turning a vision into reality by creating a dynamic STEAM room designed to ignite curiosity and inspire learning for all learners.

Through her determination and proactive approach, Pam wrote multiple grants that resulted in the acquisition of three 3D printers and numerous additional resources. These tools now form the foundation of a vibrant STEAM space that supports hands-on, innovative learning. With the recent merger of Washington and Greenacres schools, Pam recognized a unique opportunity to create a welcoming and forward-thinking environment where learners from both communities could come together to explore, collaborate, and grow.

Today, the STEAM lab has become a hub of creativity and engagement. Learners are immersed in science, technology, engineering, art, and math while also developing essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration. Just as importantly, the space has helped foster new connections and friendships among learners.

Pam’s influence extends well beyond the STEAM room. She is a cornerstone of the Greenacres community- organizing the annual Career Day, supporting colleagues, and consistently stepping in wherever help is needed. Her generosity, enthusiasm, and dedication uplift everyone around her.

Pam Domitz’s passion, innovation, and tireless efforts make her an invaluable member of the Greenacres family. We are proud to recognize her as the December PIES Award recipient and grateful for the positive impact she continues to make every day.

Ms. Domitz was recognized at the Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 and received a $50 gift card from the educational partner for this award, Lookout Credit Union.
