Founded in 1968, Chubbuck Elementary School is part of the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25. Chubbuck Elementary School is a Title 1 school. Home of the Panthers, the school's Principal is Mr. Kirk Thomson, who joins Chubbuck for the 2022-2023 school year.

Our Stories

Ms. Page is hands down the most inspirational teacher I’ve ever had. First and foremost, she reminds me to persevere and to never give up.  Another reason is that she makes learning fun by doing creative things. Finally, she makes our classroom a safe place by being a caring teacher and she says it’s ok to make mistakes.

Emma is an incredibly compassionate peer towards her classmates at Chubbuck. She voluntarily gives up her recess time each Tuesday to help other 5th-grade students catch up on work in our lunch academy. She has an amazing ability to empower her classmates as she tutors them. She patiently works together with learners to help them help themselves. Emma is able to support her classmates in a way that encourages them to celebrate their strengths, rather than feeling lesser for being behind. Emma is a great asset to the Chubbuck community!

I love teaching because I love seeing my students every day. I love it when they grasp a concept and you can watch the understanding happen. I love seeing my students in the community and the shock (from my little ones) that I don't live at the school.
